Self Re exive Journal Part 1 My initial response to SameSex Marriage A New Social Phenomenon Population and Development Review was that it made a lot of valid points I didn39t not necessarily agree that it is becoming a quottrendquot across the globe I think that since it has just recently been allowed all the couples that have been forbid to get married for years are happy to stand up and commit their love for their partner I think that this quottrendquot will slowly die down when most of the people that have been waiting are married I did however completely agree that the issue does effect more than just the two people it does effect the world That too is something that when is worked out will not be an issue and then the marriage of two people can have that as a personal matter Since this was a research done with facts and it had no prejudice I didn39t identify any biases However I know that this is an issue across that world that brings much biases from one person to the next I feel that my thoughts were etic in my answers above I was able to relate with their data and why they thought the way they did Part 2 My initial response is WHY I just never under stood how people can strap a bomb onto themselves and blow up places My biases are high with this issue I can never seem to move past 911 when I read of such things I have a hard time looking from the outside and relating in any way towards these people so I have high biases that make writing this topic dif cult
