The best piece of this class I will take with me is the exposure to Dreamweaver and the basic concepts l have learned from it And the fact that 5 weeks of training does not even touch the surface of the software39s ability What I like about it is its ability to interface and integrate the majority of the current technology today plugins media types such as CSS Flash Java Fireworks and even code such as PHP and C Add up and coming HTML50 to the mix showing it is staying fresh and you have an allinone place to create a web design This is so important considering if one does a search on web design the exorbitant amount of thirdparty stuff that is out there it is mindboggling l have learned through the weekly assignments that this is a prelude to how a freelancer would do business a RFP Request for Proposal so to speak By evaluating a current company39s web design many elements come into play site structure intended audience best practices for navigation etc These initial quotimplementation steps are required to determine the project goal timeline and scope Once these are set and the company approves the preliminary ndings the fun part starts with the artwork color scheme coding and hierarchy of the website I think with a few more months of practice with building my own sites I may be able to freelance some projects myself This class has provided an excellent foundation and a clear systematic approach to developing a website just like it would be in the real world
