Jared Mattera 14205 Oneida Ct. Moorpark, CA 93021 (805) 990-2157 March 30, 2016 Dear Knoll Inc., This May, I will graduate from La Salle University in Philadelphia with a double major in Finance and Business Systems Analytics, and have been accepted, with an academic scholarship, into La Salle’s one-year MBA in Managerial Finance. I am also a 4-year athletic and academic scholarship baseball collegiate student athlete, which has taught me the art of time management and has created a personality that is driven to complete the task at hand. I am also very sociable person with a creative mind, love meeting new people, and not intimidated by a corporate professional setting allowing my presentation skills to be exceptional. My class projects within the finance major require in-depth analysis and numerous presentations of corporations such as Edison International, Under Armor, and DirectTV, determining whether their financial plans are consistent with their investor expectations. I successfully utilized organization/statistical program tools such as excel, spss, jmp pro, etc to analyze large databases with over 500,000 different variables and developed optimal results to shift the overall direction of a company’s focus for the most profitable path. I am excited to be with a large-scale corporation and believe my talents are not solely with finance related work but could support staff analysts work as well. I am very meticulous in the analysis of my work performance in order to generate the top tier result. I take on work in a high ethical manner and work well in a teaming environment. My complete resume is attached to this email for your review. Thank you for your valuable time and consideration for a summer internship and I look forward to speaking with you soon. Sincerely, Knoll Inc., [Date] Page 2 Jared Mattera
