Reasons Why Small Businesses Need Inbound Marketing Many businesses will reason out that their sales strategies - though traditional - are inherited from their ancestors and have proven to be effective in many years! But, let us open our eyes folks; we are living in the twenty first century! Traditional strategies are best, but we should partner it with inbound marketing methods in a timely manner paralleled to the modern world. But, why do we really need inbound marketing? Is it really that effective? Here are some tips and reasons why inbound marketing is applicable for small businesses. Let them SEE you. The first thing that we can see from an establishment is its physical appearance. If we found it cozy and comfortable, we feel the eagerness to shop or dine there. For online businesses, there are many struggles to face, and generating lead is one of them. To make your site visible and on top of the list, the combination of inbound marketing and SEO submission tasks are needed to be mastered and implemented right away. Let them SPEAK. You see, people nowadays learn to be wiser by not just trusting on a one way communication: believing to every word they hear or read. Well, there’s nothing wrong with a dedicated salesperson doing his job well, it’s just that, most of the buyers are looking for someone who really shows concern for their issues and would give solution to their problem. You can hear your customers speak from social media platforms, blogs and community forums pages created; answering their queries or requests help to feel their opinions are appreciated. Don’t push, just PULL them. Traditional advertising tends to push their market interest to the crowd until they buy the product on sale. On the other hand, inbound marketing will help you to pull or ATTRACT customers as possible: a findable search terms on the first page of popular search engines, interesting and catchy graphics, videos, blogs, and social media, quick calls-to-action and landing pages. Lots of free offers from your site would do help as well. Remember to direct them to your site, not dictate them to pick your site! Let them CHOOSE you. How can your customers buy your product, if they don’t find it relevant to their needs? The greatest prospect are the wiser ones who don’t just buy over emotions, they rather buy depends on their needs, interesting facts and significant information they have collected. So stick to your plan of writing factual content about the product or service. Give the customers all the information they want but do not control them to choose you as the best answer; if they find your brand interesting, truthful, and trustworthy – let them choose you. HOLD Them Closer. If someone hit ‘Like’ of ‘Follow’ button on your social media pages, this means they found you –they are interested in you, eager to follow your updates as long as your page shows both practicality and class. But if you do work out to make your social media pages visible to your target market, then don’t be surprised if no one will ever find you floating among thousands and millions of pages on the internet. Don’t lose their interest, maintaining a strong presence on social media pages will help your visitors to cling tighter on you-so hold them closer. Whether you notice it or not, your business really needs strong inter personal backup.
