Hair Loss __________________________________________ By Milan Adamo - www.loriamedical.com For whatever reason, you find out and maybe the hard way that you must know a bit more aboHair Loss . Obviously, looking at search numbers, this is one area that attracts the attention of a lot of people. Sure, maybe you can find people to help you with certain aspects, but we always like to do as much as possible ourselves. As for us, we like to be hands-on and learn how to manage and take care of it for ourselves. It is hard to beat solid information, and that is what this article contains. How much you need to do at any one time is impossible for us to say, and that is more of a subjective assessment. People are searching all over for cures to hair loss and receding hairlines, so scientists and "big business" are marketing all kinds of products to try to cash in on this "cash cow". Those who are experiencing hair loss keep buying product after product, hoping to find one that actually works. Using some of these tips can help you re-grow your hair. Some hair loss may be reversible, particularly those caused by stress or temporary health issues. Temporary hair loss normally starts about 3 months after the trigger event, and ends in approximately 3 months. Know the issues involved so that you will not be at a disadvantage. Some documented causes of short term hair loss include anemia, illness, operations, stress and extreme changes in weight. Temporary loss of hair in reaction to an event usually sets in about three months after the situation is over. The loss of hair can continue for about three months. Know these things and keep them in mind if you experience hair loss. Think about your particular hairdo when considering hair loss. Some practices that are known to lead in the result of hair loss are wearing constricting devices, tight pony tails, and barrettes. This condition is called traction alopecia. Refrain from attempting to style hair while it is still wet. Even being too assertive while drying can result in damage. Chances of damage to hair follicles is exponentially higher when the hair is wet. If you want to keep the hair you still have, pat it gently dry with a soft towel and let air drying take care of the rest. When your hair is completely dry, it is time to style it. Another way to retain healthy hair is to protect it from chemicals that cause damage. Unhealthy agents will adversely affect your overall health, and when your body is trying to stay healthy, there is a higher risk of your hair thinning or falling out. For example, avoid breathing car exhaust fumes when in traffic and always wear gloves if you handle toxic chemicals so that they aren't absorbed through your skin. If you are unhappy about hair thinning, consider looking over some of the products you are putting on your hair. If you love using sticky products, like gels on your hair, you must remember to wash them off before going to bed. Such products can clog follicles and cause hair loss. When you lose a lot of hair, other physical problems can occur as well. For example, the hair on your head kept your scalp protected form the elements. If you plan on going in the sun, wear sunscreen, and a cap. One method that can engender hair growth and stop the loss of hair is scrubbing the scalp. You want to scrap the scalp vigorously with a brush that has spaced apart bristles that are hard. Your brushing should be almost fierce enough to be painful - almost, but not quite. This will stimulate healthy blood flow that will bring necessary nutrients required for hair growth. If you are losing your hair, try eating more food products that contain Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps by getting more blood flow to the scalp, and maintains capillaries which carry the blood to hair follicles. You will see more rapid regrowth once you have better circulation to the scalp. Certain hair styles can lead to hair loss problems. A lot of times when you pull your hair back into a ponytail it can cause you to lose your hair. Tight styles such as braids and cornrows can pull your hair out by the roots. Doing some research is the best way to start dealing with hair loss. It's possible there are remedies available that a person concerned with hair loss may not even know about. The tips and advice that you have read will give you a good starting point as to how to protect against hair loss. Plenty more are available for the learner who seeks them out. So... What's Next ?
