Different types of San Jose Electricians Working as an electrician requires license which is provided by the state or federal government of the particular region where the electrician belongs. The electrician has to first pass the education program at a career college. The duration of the course range from two to three years and the training is combined with job placement opportunities also. Once the training is over, the electrician is required to pass the license exam for becoming a qualified electrician. After obtaining the license the electrician has the choice to either open his own business or can work as residential or commercial electrician. Most of the electricians combine both residential and commercial work in order to expand the customer base. San Jose electricians concentrate on both residential and commercial work. The job of San Jose electricians varies by the job and specialty. Most of the electricians concentrate on construction or maintenance field. Electrician jobs require enough work experience and the experience for handling these things comes from on the job training only. There are various roles an electrician plays in his career. Maintenance electrician is one type of electrician who has good knowledge in the electrical systems and they make sure that everything run safely and effectively. Installation electrician is another type of electrician who concentrates on installing electrical systems. Automotive electricians are other type of electricians who works on automotive field and who handles most complicate electrical systems in vehicles. Instrumentation electricians are the other people who maintain, fix and find problems in equipments like refrigerators, air conditioners etc.
