WhyYouNeedaClearVisionForSuccess If you’re unclear of what you want, how will you ever get it? If you’re clear about what you want, you will find a way and the “how” disappears. Image Source Here’sMyVisionForSuccess I, James Godin am sitting in front of my computer on January 5th, 2013. I am looking at the ‘my business’tab in my Empower Network back office. In the sub tab of ‘payments earned’I see $40,000 where it says ‘earned’. I also see an additional $30,000 where it says ‘pending payment’. As I take a look at my bank account statement online, I can see that I have $25,000 sitting there from the $40,000 that has already been transferred from my e-wallet to my bank account. I can hear the TV in the background coming from the living room as I’m sitting in my office. I can smell my girlfriend’s perfume in the air mixed with a lingering smell of what we had for dinner this afternoon. I see the light shining from my lamp on the keyboard of my computer and I feel the heat from the light on my face and my left arm. As I look back over the last 65 days, I can’t believe how easy it was for me to earn $70,000 as an affiliate in Empower Network. It really is as easy as the leaders make it sound. I now realize that the reason why I wasn’t able to produce this type of income before but I am able to now, is because I didn’t have a clear vision for success. After defining a clear vision for success, and earning $70,000 in just 65 days, I think I deserve to reward myself. As a reward to myself I am going to take my family on a vacation to Universal Studios / Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida for a week. Did you notice how detailed I was in my vision for success ? That is vital! You need to have a VIVID VISION for success, otherwise, you will fall short on your goal. Why? Because when you fail to be ultra descriptive in your vision for success, you leave out the details that will help you re-imagine yourself accomplishing your goal in the future. And yes, your goal needs to be set in the future, but you need to be writing it in present tense, as if you have already accomplished your goal. WhatIfIDon’tBelieveMyVisionForSuccess? Well, in my case, I do believe it will happexactlyhow I described it. I feel it is important to believe in your vision, but it is not vital when you’re first starting out and doing this exercise for the first time. It’s okay if you think tvision for succesyou write down sounds ridiculous, the important thing is that you write it down, and take massive action on a DAILY basis even if you feel weird about it. Because when you take massive action toward reaching your goal, it doesn’t matter how ridiculous it seems, you will find a way to reach your goal. Even if you end up reaching your goal a little later than you anticipated in your vision for success, that’s okay, because most likely you will not have fallen short by enough to make a difference. Say in my vision for successwhere I said I will make an extra $70,000 in the next 65 days, I for whatever reason only end up making $60,000. Is that a bad thing? I don’t think so! You won’t reach your exact goal 100% of the time, but you will reach your general goal 100% of the time. Let me explain: If your vision for success is to earn $70,000 per month in 90 days from now… and in 90 days you are earning $50,000 per month. $50,000 might be the number you secretly believe you can achieve in your subconscious mind. (your general goal) While you still think that the $70,000 vision for success is stretching it a bit. In this example, your $70,000 vision for success is the type of goal you set that you will end up reaching about 50% – 75% of the time, while the rest of the time you will end up living out your subconscious vision for success of $50,000 per month. Does that make sense? I hope so, but if not, leave your feedback in the comments below and I’d be happy to discuss it further with you As a tip… No matter what you set you vision for success to be, I find it useful to overshoot your goal and set your primary goal to something much higher than you think is possible. I think this will help you feel that a lower goal is more attainable, and therefore you will end up reaching your lower goal 100% of the time. So… If I set my ‘crazy ridiculous’ goal to a $100,000 per month vision for success… … it is likely that I will find a $70,000 per month vision for success more attainable! I hope this helps, and I hope you have picked up some value here that you can apply to your business, whether you are in Empower Network, thinking about joining my team, or you just want to apply this exercise to your existing business!
