5 Reasons Why You Should Be an Amazon Affiliate If you are serious about making a living from your internet business I highly recommend becoming an Amazon Affiliate. It’s a great way to add an additional revenue stream to your current income, or the start of a new one if you haven’t got any yet. So, in this article I’m going to give you 5 reasons why you should become and Amazon Affiliate and at the end I’m going to give you a resource where you can learn a really powerful system that will teach you step by step how to make money as an Amazon Affiliate. It’s a free resource and it’s at the end of this article. Without further ado, let’s get into it. Reason #1 – There’s little to no competition Ok, so that may sound like a bold claim. There is competition, of course, but the competition isn’t half as much as digital products that you find on Clickbank and the like. When I say competition I mean search engine competition. Most of the time people promoting Amazon products on search engines through their websites and blogs have no idea about search engine optimisation so they’re easy to outrank. Heck, most of the competing sites that show up in Google for Amazon product names have real bad search engine optimisation. And that leaves the search engine results page wide open for people like me and you who do know how to do search engine optimisation properly. If you don’t know how to optimise your website properly it’s all outlined in the step by step report at the end of this article. Because the commissions on physical products are so low, usually to the tune of 4%, a lot of people point blank refuse to spend their time promoting them. They’d rather go for 50-70% commissions promoting digital products, which is totally understandable. This void allows people like you and me to jump in with little friction. Yes, the commissions are low but it really doesn’t matter. The goal is volume of sales and it’s easily achieved. More on this later. Reason #2 – There are more than 30,000 products to choose from Yes, that’s right. There are more than 30,000 products to choose from on the Amazon marketplace so it makes perfect sense to become an Amazon Affiliate if you want an endless supply of products to promote. There are products for every market covering a variety of prices, all with a range of reviews so you know what’s being received well and what isn’t. Reason#3 – The sales are easy to make When somebody goes to a search engine and types a product name in, there are very close to buying. There have already been presold on the product now they’re simply trying to justify their purchase by looking for positive reviews and user experience. I know this from experience and when you target product names and write reviews on your blog or website it’s super easy to convert those visitors into buyers by directing them to Amazon from within your content through your affiliate link. You don’t have to write reviews, you can write product overviews or price comparisons, too. Just make sure you are an affiliate with the other company too to make sure you are getting credit for the sale either way. Reason #4 - It’s passive income The great benefit of being an Amazon Affiliate is that the income is passive. Because people will be coming to your site primarily from Google, you’ll be making commissions whilst you’re in bed because the internet never sleeps. Once you’ve got momentum you’ll be making commissions for months, even years to come without ever having to touch the site in question. Reason #5 – Everybody knows Amazon Amazon is possibly the most trusted ecommerce site on the web. Because everybody knows Amazon, people are much more likely to buy from them because they know their personal information is safe. People these days are more and more switched on to the dangers of identity theft and fraud so you’re at a real big advantage sending visitors to Amazon as opposed to an underground ecommerce store that nobody’s ever heard of. It’s this trust factor that makes sales even easier to make. If somebody is looking for a product online and they land on your site that gives them an overview, a price and a few positive reviews along with a link that they can buy from direct from Amazon they’ll buy every time. Trust me on this, I do it every day. That concludes my 5 top reasons to be an Amazon Affiliate. If you decide to give Amazon Associates a go I have a free report available called $100 Per Day Amazon Associate that you can download at no cost by visiting my blog http://russellsmitheram.com/blog/amazon-associates It’s complete step by step system that will take you by the hand with live examples how you can start your $100 + per day Amazon Affiliate income.
