Factor tree 30 6<>5 2>3 2>5 Section 9.1 sets of numbers and symbols Natural numbers- 1,2,3,4,… Whole numbers- 0,1,2,3,4… Integer= …-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,…. Rational numbers- set of all numbers that can be expressed by a fraction (ratio) ¼, squre root of 9, 0, .999999, 3.57 Irrational numbers- no pattern squre root of two, pie ect <=less then >= more then = equal to <= less or equal >= greater or equal =/= not equal A less is then B B is greater than A Number line- is a line on which each point is associated with a number.
