They research before making purchases and are always skeptical. 3.)Bad/unwise consumer 3.a) A person with no direct path of purchase. They have no plan/list, there not educated on the product, and they usually suffer from impulse buying. Traits of consumers Good consumer: Educated, Informed, prepared, tunnel vision, makes lists, reads labels, knows nutrition, skeptical, socially and environmentally aware and there not afraid to ask questions. Bad Consumer: Quick, impatient, Impulsive, uninformed, un educated and un caring Wise Web consumers: Be skeptical Check the website sponsors Check the domain name(.com, .org, .llc, .biz) Determine site objectives Find if information is current Look for original material presented on the site Look at the sites policy on personal info Make sure the website is trusted Use credit cards, not debit cards Use sited to do price comparisons Read return/ cancellation policy Make sure that the URL begins with https:// before checking out.
