Article (eye- A/AN nah) 6. Und heir sind die Schuhe. Sie sind schmutzig. The Nomintive Case- the subject; whoever or whatever the action is doing. EXAMPLE: Subject- noun 1. Der Hund beiβt den Mann Verb- what the noun does The dog bit the man *** When switching a noun out for it, Den Mann beiβt der Hund. REMEMBER: STAY IN THE FAMILY! The man was bit by the dog. (i.e) Der Tisch ist lila (The table is purple) *Der is a MASCULINE pronoun, so to change der 1. Weiche Farbe hat Marinas Rock? tisch (the table) to it, stay in the MASCULINE family. Which colors has Maria’s skirt? Der Tisch ist lila.  Er ist lila. Er ist Orange. (The table is puple)  It is purple. It is Orange. 2. Welche Farbe hat Michaels Hose? Die tafel ist weiβ.  Sie ist weiβ. Sie ist grÜn. The board is white.  It is white. 3. Welche Farbe hat Michaels Hemd? Es ist gelb. 4. Welche Farbe hat Michaels Hut? Er ist schwarz. 5.
