Discussion: Correlations and t tests were done in this experiment too see if there were any factors in the data thar related to each other. There wer many correlations found in thei sexperiment between social and physical environment factors. This experiment proved that someones physical environment and their social environment influenced theur physical activity and health outsomes. This experiment also showed many particapnats and informed them that they can take advantage of where they live to excerise efffectivley. Students nad faculty members can walk or bike to walk instead of waiting in long lines for the bus. Some apartment complexes have bike trails and bike rakes to make it easier for people to travel on ikes or walk to campus and many other places. Being informed on all the ways you can excerise and use your resources around you are one of the ways to make more people to excerse. Some social environemt factors are harder to change than other.s Neighborhood crime rate was one of the biggest factors that influenced many factors on physical activity and health outcomes. One correlation that stuck out and was resting heart rate and neighborhood crime at night. When our bodies are tensed and anxious it causes our heart rate to increase. When the neighborhood crime rate is low then people will have a low resting heart rate, which is a good indicator of good health. High neighborhood crime rate affect our health and this is a hard factor to change to cause healthy biomarkers but its good to be aware of this. When moving to a new neighborhood make sure the crime rate it low because have a high resting heart rate can cause health problems. “While resting, a healthy adult heart beats 60 to 100 times per minute. If a  person's heart rate is consistently over 100 beats per minute, the person is considered to  have a high heart rate, which is also known as tachycardia”(azumino). Tachycardia can  do tat much harm to the body it causes the heat to work less effiecntly. Less oxyfenates  blood will flow through the body not a lot of blood is prumped throughout the body. This  can cause problems in body like lightheaded, dizziness and chest pain. Having roomates and friedns that are physically active is a factor of the social  environment that influences someones physical activity and health outcomes for the  better. There was a correlation with this factor, which was body fat and height. The more  active neighbors that surround you the lower body fat percentsge you have. The people  that someone surround themselves with has an affect on them because their habits rub  off, in this case perceptionof other indivdual’s level of physical activity caused an good  inlunece and caused a low ody fat perceantge on indivuaduals. “Low Fat in a human body is frequently linked with increased health benefits and appealing physical features in both sexes”(mp) Excersing is one way to increase body fat in the body and can lead to many  benefits. On eof the best ways to force an invidual to excerise is to be surrounded by  people who take their physical health seriously because certain behaviors affect an  indivual. Another correlation with crime was detected in this survey, between campus gym  nad daytime crime. When there is high daytime crime there are a lot more individual  excersing in the campus gyms. This would make sense because if an induvduals  neighborhood is dangerous it wil cause more students nad faculty memebrs to be on  indoor at a gym. Students and faculty memebers must feel more safe on Penn State’s  campus. Minutes of vigourous physcail activity per day and the number of people you live  with had a significant correlation. Moderate physical activity per day also has a  significant correlation with the number of people osmone lives with. Being surrounded  with active people causes an indididual to have motavition and drives them to excerise if  they see everyone around them doing so. Exercise partners provide a powerful  combination of support, accountability, motivation and, in some cases, healthy  competition. “They can play the role of teammate, cocoach and cheerleader — all while  working out,” says Michelle P. Maidenberg, PhD, MPH, clinical director of Westchester  Group Works in Harrison, N.Y”(wagner). Having friends that are active is a bonus  because they can be great workout buddies and they can keep you liable.  “In my 10 years of experience evaluating what creates longterm healthandfitness success, the single  most important factor is having a support system,” says Wayne Andersen, MD,  cofounder and medical director of Take Shape for Life, a nationwide health and lifestyle  coaching program based in Owings Mills, Md” (wagner). The survey agreed with many  studies that having active friends and neighborhoods can help encourage and improve  physcail activity and health outcomes in indivduals. An indivdual’s physical environemnet also has an influence on their physical  acitivity and health outcomes. Bke lanes and HDL talk good about physical environment talk bad things about physical environment talk bad things about social environment conclusion sentence
