This commercial is more likely to draw women and everyone else, because it is very controversial. It was shocking to see these little girls dressed in a typical princess costume then to hear those cuss words come out of there mouth made me cringe, but it made an impact on me. So after I got past the first cuss word the message got though to me and made me take it very seriously. I find it very empowering that children are utilized in the video, because that where it all starts from being a girl’s parents tot her how to act and dress like a “girl”. So Its amazing to see that at a young age girls are learning about this and how important it is. As long as the girls truly understand what they are talking about and not just reading a scrip it really will improve the definition of being a woman. I would purchase one of the shirts after watching it because I love what it stands for and that it donates to charities with a common cause. This class has affected my perspective of this commercial, because before this class I most likely would have reacted like my roommate who I showed the video to in that she could not get over the fact that the little girls were cussing. I understood that it’s a way to get people to understand the importance of being a feminist. I think men my age will think neither and most likely laugh at the fact that little girls are using swear world and completely ignore the concept and point of the video. I actually did have the exact same reaction as you watching the video I was shocked by the swear word the little girls were saying. After I got over it I did laugh at some points and enjoyed the message too. I would have the same reaction if it were little boys, because it basic manners for little children no matter the gender not to cuss, but that is just my view point. Other than that I completely agree with the rest of your statement.
