My thoughts on the photograph is, first of all, that he is just holding up the sign to  get a reaction and attention. If you want your message to be seen, it should  include some sort of shock value. The photograph did that for me and made me  realize that I personally do not agree with the statement. I think abortion should  not be taken lightly and the reasons it could happen depends on a lot of factors.  Statistics provided from state that the top reason why women  choose to have an abortion is that they are “not ready for a(nother) child/timing is wrong.” Ultimately it should be the women’s choice. It is important to factor in her  partner’s feelings and beliefs into her choice as well. It is her body and life that it  affects, so we should not we make a woman keep a child she does not want.  Also I think that having an abortion is not a way to escape the consequences.  They are making a very adult decision that will not only affect them but also their  partner. Having a child is very serious and should not be considered a  consequence. In my opinion, a baby should be wanted and the opinion of the  state or government should not even be included. His statement is also  contradicting itself by taking the choice away from women it is in fact taking the  choice away from human beings. So just the way that it worded does not logically make any sense. I completely agree with you it is a huge decision that takes a toll on women both physically and emotionally. You are also right it really dose depend on the situation weather it be financially or any other valid reason to get one. If we take the choice of abortion away women will continue to do it, just illegally. If its not done professionally it can put the women in danger and cause deadly health issues.
