To be a future accountant, I’m not quite sure what kind of accountant I want to be yet. I’m still learning and haven’t yet quite decided. I do know that I take care of the everyday finances of my family. Though I am a House Mom at the moment that still has a financial role. Women were the main consumers during the 1950s, with seventy-five percent of all consumer advertising budgets spent to appeal to women. This put a large degree of economic power in their hands. Though this power was usually centered on the home, the economic progressions of this era were largely in part due to the consummation of products by women, who were the main shoppers. (, 2013) At least in our house hold. There is a day where we go over the bills that need to be paid. We go over appointments and a day were going to go grocery shopping. Also the things we need for ourselves and our son. It doesn’t sound like much now but it made me realize that I want to help people get their finances in order. I see people struggling that make a lot more money than our family makes and I want to be able to help them. References (2013, April 11). Housewives & Their Role Beyond the Home.
