Noid, Hannah  HST 101  September 8th, 2015    Learning Log Assignment #1    I would say that the class that has left me saying, “I was made for this,” has been my math  classes throughout high school. Since I’ve started taking classes at NMC, I have not enrolled in  a math class as of yet. Math has always been something I’ve enjoyed and excelled at in the  classroom and at home. My dad is also a bit of a “math wiz”. Although I enjoy math a lot, I don’t  know for sure if it is something I would want to deal a lot with in my job/career. I feel it would get  really boring and I wouldn’t enjoy it as much.    I really liked the Egyptian part of the reading so far. I’ve always found their history quite  interesting and enjoyable to read. When I was in second grade we had these school “olympics”  because of the olympics that were going to happen that summer. Each classroom in the school  was assigned a country and we were supposed to spend some time in class learning about it.  My classroom happened to be assigned Egypt. We had a lot of fun learning about Egypt in that  class. I find the the pyramids, and all of the buildings and structures quite interesting also. At  one point in my life, I really wanted to be an architect as well.
