Katlyn Cameron 900813313 Part A. 1)      Ralph is in the state of precontemplation because he is unaware of his health problem. It is most likely Ralph feels this way because he does not want to accept the truth and is afraid  of change. In order for Ralph to make a behavior change he should start eating better meals with a much  lower calorie count and start implementing exercise regimens into his daily schedule. 2)      Kain is in the contemplation stage because he is aware he has anger problems and is  searching for a solution to best fit his needs. Selfreevaluation and environmental reevaluation are two things Kain should look into when  trying to make a change so he can feel safe and comfortable in his class and know he is doing  what is best for himself. He may also want to look into discussing his options with a counselor.  3) Allison is intending on changing her ways therefore she is in a state of preparation. In order to help her situation Allison should use condoms during each relationship she has and  in order to best help herself she should look into getting into a committed relationship.  Part B. 1) My target behavior is to get back into the habit of eating healthy foods on a regular  basis. 2) I would classify myself as being in the contemplation stage because i know it is a  problem but I still have not went and bought healthy foods for my room and I do not always  make the best food choices in the Dining Halls. 3) The two processes that will best help me achieve my goal  are selfliberation and  reinforcement management.  Selfliberation is very important because I must make the commitment to myself before making  a change, and I must make others aware so they can keep me accountable.  Reinforcement management will help me eat better because i can reward myself with healthy  treats at the end of the week and if I was not successful in my goal for the week then I will not  be allowed any rewards for the week.  My plan will be to control the snacks i have and limit those snacks to only healthy treats and  watch the variation of my diet throughout the week, especially in the dining hall. I will also make  it a goal to include a salad with each meal I eat in order to curb my appetite slightly so I will eat  less.
