A Day in the Life of Claire (Typical Monday Freshmen Year) 5:30 wake up for lift. Get dressed in the dark, brush teeth, grab my water bottle and a granola bar to eat on the 3 min walk through Botetourt Woods to the Hall. 5:50-7 Lift with Josh!! 7-8 Breakfast at the Caf, usually fruit, cereal and eggs so I have an excuse to say hi to Miss Valerie (may turn into a 1 hour Caf sit if I don’t have too much work and I have good company) 8-11 shower and finish homework due that day or for later that week. Also a good time to visit professors during their office hours. 11-12 Nap then get dressed and leave for Sadler for lunch 12-1 Lunch at Sadler with 5-8 other tribe swimmers 1-1:50 Spanish: Advanced Language, Grammar, and Composition with fellow swimmer, Annie Valls 2-3:20 Elementary Statistics 3:20-3:45 casually walk back to my dorm to drop stuff off and get a snack/check email (no dryland today so 30 extra minutes of chill time) 4-6 Mid-D B Practice!! Usually aerobic freestyle to start the week off 6-7 Dinner at the Caf with everyone else (consistently one of the highlights of my day, it is always a great group and so much fun to eat with everyone after a good practice) 7-10 Homework time, in my dorm or at Swem sometimes social study in Yates depending on my work load and how focused I need to be. 10:30 read a little or talk with my roommate (non-swimmer) until I fall asleep at around 11.
