Writing  a  literacy  narrative:  Week  2     Literature  narrative:  A  narrative  about  the  writers  memory  on  learning  to  read  or   write.   How  to  write  a  good  Literacy  Narrative   1) Make  a  list  of  topic  from  memory  about  reading  or  writing   2) Eliminate  the  list  to  one  topic   3) Plan  your  writing  from  paragraph  to  paragraph   4) Find  a  good  writing  place   5) Give  your  self  a  good  20-­‐40min  to  write  anything  that  comes  to  mind   6) Add  details  about  place,  time,  setting,  location,  taste  and  smell   7) Choose  your  tone  and  style   8) Re-­‐read  your  essays  and  add  or  take  out  anything  that  is  not  pleasing     What  makes  a  good  Literacy  narrative?   o The  ability  to  tell  a  narrative   o To  describe  in  details  of  his  or  her  environment   o The  ability  to  use  transition  from  paragraph  to  paragraph  without  losing   focus  of  the  narrative   o Keep  the  audience  engaged  and  hooked  in  to  the  narrative.
