Heather Kahalehili 10/29/15 Yoga Sequence Fitness Yoga 6 PM – 7:50 PM (Thursday) 1) “Centering” Cross legged seated position, eyes closed, hands on top of knees (10 slow, steady breaths) Seated neck rolls (2 breaths each) o Inhale chin to chest, exhale right ear to right shoulder o Inhale chin to chest, exhale left ear to left shoulder o Full neck rolls 2) Warm ups Seated twist (4 breaths each side) Set up table, “paw the ground” or gently massage wrists (2 breaths) Slow hip rotations (3 breaths each direction) Cat/cow (4 breaths) Balancing table (4 breaths each side) Two full sun salutations with added twisted lunge (10 breaths each) 3) Core sequence Warrior I (4 breaths) Open to Warrior II (4 breaths) Reverse warrior (4 breaths) Windmill arms to front lunge, bring left foot to meet right, rise up slowly to Tadasana Repeat those four steps for other side Clasped locust (4 breaths) Bow pose (4 breaths) Boat pose with extended legs (5 breaths) Seated side bend (4 breaths each side) *Poses that require minimal work were purposely chosen because I am still recovering from a very bad fever. Typically I would have made this a more challenging sequence! It was just bad timing
