Y is placed in front of the conjugated verb in the present and passe compose In the future form or when the two verbs are relative to each other, y is placed in front of the infinitive. Ex. Je vais y aller. I am going there. Venir De Venir to come; venir de to come from Je viens Nous venons Tu viens Vous venez Il/Elle/On vient Ils/Elles viennent Venir de is used to describe where a person is from. De is used with feminine places, and du is used with masculine places.
