Write at least two concise paragraph analyzing the parallels as well as the differences between the assemble line approach of Henry Ford and that of McDonald's. Remember to document any additional resources you use in your answer. The First Video talks about Henry Ford and he created Efficiency in his ware house while making his cars by minimizing the amount of time it takes to complete that job, and the second video talks mostly about McDonaldization saying that since it came out we have then been using it for everything including shopping and exercise. Some Parallels about these two videos is efficiency when working or as George Ritzier defines it as “looking for the best route to reach your goal”, and also predictability, which according to the video is the same from one time to another time. The Differences between these two videos is that one talks about McDonaldization and the restaurant business and the processes by which lie at the base of the restaurant and are dominating more and more sectors of society , according to ritzier while the other talks about Henry Ford and Scientific Management, and increase in efficiency by 300% or 500%by giving his workers less steps in order to complete their job, with the help of Frederick Taylor and his principles of scientific management.
