Informative Speech Communications 101 This past week we did two speeches and had a quiz so we really did not have a lecture. We did however discuss that our informative speech and our outside speaker critique due soon. A couple of notes about your informative speech though. Make sure you do something that you know about. Do not try talking about things that you do not know, you may lose credibility and the audience/class may think you look nervous because of this. Also do not try to do it over a concept; the basis is a person, place, thing, or an event. Here I have listed a couple of events going on for your outside speaker critique that are before it is due. We were told to do it at least one week after going to the event so we can make sure we remember it correctly. crt=regular&page=1&sort=best Here are some offered at the Indianapolis Public Library, some of these require prior registration to attend. This is a list by month and day so if you want something for a specific day that you know that you are free this may be the way to go. From the IMA Other random sites:
