 Learning Styles & Best Practices Visual/Graphic Learner learn best by reading, watching, or recalling a mental picture. Tactile/kinesthetic learner learns best by touching, manipulating objects, and doing things. Introverts are students who usually prefer to study alone. Test anxiety is a condition that causes a student to be fearful and frantic when it comes to test-taking.  Goals Short Term Goals are small steps that would take you on the road to accomplishing your long term goals. Long Term Goals are aimed at major accomplishments that take some time to achieve. Academic Honesty entails turning in your own work.  The most frequently cited reason that first-year college students gave for why they enrolled in college is to be able to get a better job.
