(at least, physically) - BE MEDIA AWARE! - Being Muslim in America right now is like being Japanese right after Pearl Harbor - “All of these advancements are part of the Lord hastening His work in the latter days.” - Elder Bednar - “I think your generation is born with a greater concept of knowledge.” - Different people have different media limits - If you shield yourself from the hard-to-hear stuff, how will you advance later? - Follow the Spirit in the media. - How has social media affected my testimony of the Gospel? - YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL. - It is the age of SORTING. - Some people are very adept at portraying an image, and some people just expose all of their ugliness. - DISCERNMENT - Give people the benefit of the doubt. - We all have our weaknesses - Everyone is trying their best. - I CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
