What  is  multimodal?     Modes  of  multimodal  consist  of   1) Gestural-­‐  Movement  of  the  body  or  parts  of  the  body  which  is  angled  or   positioned  in  a  certain  space.   2) Audio-­‐  Sounds,  noises,  vibrations  with  rhythm  that  makes  music.   3) Writing-­‐  Witten  language  through  the  use  of  grammar,  spelling  and   vocabulary.   4) Spatial-­‐  The  position  or  space  of  an  object  .     Multimodal:    the  art  and  writing  which  combines  two  or  more  modes       Examples  of  Modes       This  picture  uses  gesture  and  writing,  which  makes  it  multimodal         This  picture  uses  spatial  and  writing,  which  makes  it  multimodal             One  of  the  most  popular  multimodal  teens  and  adults  watch  comes  from  YouTube.   Weather  it’s  a  funny  video,  make  up  tutorial  to  songs.
