Week 6 Notes: English 106_52  when you find your articles, remember to get the citation info  everything needs to be in APA Format NEED A RUNNING HEADER:  Goes up in the left hand corner of every page   Running header: title of paper   On the rest of the pages it’s just your title  o title and page number on every page  o page number goes in the upper right hand corner  FINDING THE ARTICLES IN THE UF LIBRARY   When you are on blackboard, click the library tab  At the left you will see a link to academic search complete  You should see a screen that has a blue circle that says EBSCO HOST  The next slides will show screen captures of how to get around in there  Week 7 Notes: English 106_52 WRITING THE INTRODUCTION  Usually is 1­2 paragraphs and often covers much of the first page of text after the abstract and the title page in APA  Introduction usually answers these questions o Why is the student union significant as a study area  o What were you looking to find out in your literature review  o How did you select these articles  o What are common problem student unions have the that the literature review  explores  o What are some trends in college student unions that your literature review reveals  o What does your overall review of the literature indicate about the student union  on college campuses today (thesis)
