KINEMATICS PRACTICE Below is a system that we looked at in Lecture 12 Suggestion Derive an expression for Fag two ways 1 Assume that point Q is fixed on rod C ie assume L is constant 2 Assume that point Q is sliding along rod C ie assume the L changes as a function of time Do each derivation using as many different approaches as possible eg rotation matrices and unit vector conversions the Golden Rule and two points fixed on a rigid body By using multiple approaches you will be forced to use EVERY important kinematics concept that we have covered in the course I do not have any solutions generated for this problem but you can check your solutions by deriving your expressions for F 219 using different approaches and also by comparing your results with those of other students in the class
