Dear Owner of local Restaurant I m an inter at your restaurant by using Regression analysis I would like to offer you some advices and explanations why our business has been going up and down The rst variable I analysis was food sales according to the R Square 082and Adjusted R square 075 which means about 80 variations can be explained by independent variables which is a decent number And the Signi cant F for food value regression analysis was 000 which means the percentage of this analysis could be wrong this number is very small so the analysis should be reliable And the factors are actually in uence the food values are RampB music Karaoke spring Fall and School Holidays The other independent Variables are less effective because they have a Pvalue which is higher than 005 and when RampB plays at the restaurant the sales will go up for 5221 and when Karaoke opens the sales will go up for 11895 and Spring will also increase the sales for 14623 and Fall increase for 11423 however school holidays are bad for our business it decrease the food sales for 20002 And switch to Drink Sales analysis over 89 of the dependent variables were explained by independent variables And the signi cant F is relevantly small so the analysis is very persuasive Base on the data the factors are effecting the drink sales are RampB Karaoke Spring Fall and Community events and School Holidays playing RampB music in the restaurant will increase the sales for 57396 and karaoke will increase the sales for 93659 Spring season is going to booming the drink sales for 101990 and fall for 86782 however when people having community events and school holidays drink sales are going to be negatively effected for 114905 and 118941 Hope this analysis will help your making future business decisions Yingxue Tan Linder College of Buisness
