Sports management Week 4 So this weeks class notes are actually pretty short We watched a youtube video on Jackie Robinson and filed out a worksheet that went along with it The video talked about what Jackie had accomplished for the African Americans in the league of baseball Branch Rickey wanted someone who would not fight back when racial slurs were being yelled at him Jackie was the man that could do that for him Jackie Robinson was an inspiration to many people and motivated people to fight back without violence Thursday We took a quiz on this day and watched the video of James Blake and the mistaken Identity James Blake is a famous tennis player who was in New York standing outside of his hotel when he was attacked by an undercover officer who did not identify himself at the time of the arrest They held James Blake for fifteen minutes thinking that he was an Australian man caught up in credit card scams in which neither James Blake or the man that they had mistaken him for were a part of James would just like an apology for what happened He hopes that this incident would not happen to anyone else and that police should do a much better job of investigating before they try to arrest someone
