Shaver 1  Nick Shaver  Prof. Fletcher  English 1510    April 22, 2015  Annotated Bibliography  "Racism against American Indian ­ Native Americans." Racism against American Indian  Native Americans. Web. 22 Apr. 2015.    I am using this website to find facts that support the opening of my essay. I open with the  history of Native Americans and the Colonials from Europe. There was little to no racism  involved with the U.S. while the Natives stayed here by themselves. Once the European  explorers came, the poison of racism followed. This website helps me support my point with  solid facts about the events at that time.  Council on Foreign Relations. Council on Foreign Relations. Web. 22 Apr. 2015.              This website came in handy because my second topic was about the racism against  African American people through slavery in the past. From this website I gathered factual  information about early racism and how it started.              This website talked about the terrible working conditions for African Americans. It talked  about how they were traded away from their families. This website told me that the African  Americans were never even named citizens, but subhuman property. These were powerful pieces  of information I included into my essay.  "Racism Against Japanese American Citizens ­" Racismreviewcom. 2  May 2008. Web. 22 Apr. 2015.  Shaver 2              This website assisted my 3 topic. This topic covered the internment of Japanese  Americans during WW2. It included interviews and quotes from Lawrence Maushard from  Oregon, that spoke of the reasoning behind the harsh actions from the government on the Asian  Americans. I pulled a block quote from this website from June Arima Schumann that talked  about the U.S. governments racism towards Japanese Americans.
