The Game Project Your job is to create a game incorporating concepts you will be learning in this class Your game may be entirely unique or it can be modeled after an existing game The important point is that success in the game is dependent on the knowledge of the concepts covered in this course and in the field of what we cover in this course Your game should be designed for 24 players and it should take approximately 2030 minutes to play the entire thing Your game must include stepbystep instructions of how to play it as well as all of the props necessary to play it eg dice cards board scoring sheets and so forth NO SOFTWARE GAMES It is entirely up to you and your group whether you decide to emphasize breadth or depth of material covered in your game That is you can cover a broad range of information or a more defined set of principles Effort and creativity will also be rewarded ie higher marks will be given to groups who start their game from scratch and come up with a novel idea Presentation is also important Neatness quality of design and visual impact will be judged This is a group project and we will devote class time to working on it
