This article relates directly to the class because it is another discovery in a world that constantly surprises us This discovery was done right here in the United States and is very important because it provides a link between two generations of dinosaurs There was a void in dinosaur history between the quotearlyquot and quotlaterquot dinosaurs and while this may not close the gap completely it is a beginning and gives us an opportunity to learn a little more than we already know into the history of these dinosaurs n Ghost Ranch Mexico there has been a new discovery Apparently it is a dinosaur it is the size of a dog with a long snout and huge front teeth This dinosaur is called Daemonosaurus chauliodus which stands for something close to quotbuck toothed evil lizardquot This dinosaur is believed to have come in between the quotearlyquot and the quotolderquot dinosaurs The Daemonosaurus chauliodus are believed to have lived roughly 205 million years ago most likely eating small animals and other dinosaurs The location of the discovery was also much closer to the equator 205 million years ago so it was very hot during the day but it is possible they also saw at night as well due to their big eyes The volcanic activity of 200 million years ago may have been the cause of their extinction but that has not been confirmed But many dinosaurs did survive the volcanic activity but were then doomed with an asteroid around 65 millions years ago Any of these could have led to the extinction ofthe Daemonosaurus chauliodus
