Kobe Bryant Has A 40" Vertical - So Can You! I'll admit Kobe Bryant was born with some natural talent. That doesn't mean he didn't have help getting the 40" vertical he has. Everyone needs help along the line and Kobe had programs like this that coached him into the star he is today. Ever wonder how NBA stars jump like they do? The have specific guidelines they follow to tone their skills. Do not just expect to wake up and dunk a basketball. You need to develop a plan and combine a mixture of strength training and diet to get that vertical you want. Once you do this you will notice faster results than you thought possible. Strength Training Having a high vertical takes more than just a good technique. Developing the right muscles in your body will be the ultimate key to jumping higher. The muscles you need to focus on are your legs (obviously) and your core muscles. Many people think your core has nothing to do with jumping, but that is where there wrong. A few exercises that many NBA pro's like Kobe Bryant use to increase and sustain there vertical are: - Legs: Squats, Split Squats, Bulgarian Split Squats, Leg curls, Romanian Ham's, Calf Raises and many more. - Core Exercises: Crunches (Sit Ups) - Flat and Decline, Russian Twist (For Obliques), Ball Crunches etc. Nutrition Visiting a fast food joint one, two, three times a day is not going to get you anywhere no matter how much exercise you do. Eating healthy is something most people neglect to do because its not fast or easy. Even if you make one change to your diet a week I guarantee you will notice results. Kobe Bryant's diet plan includes high amounts of protein mixed with the right fats (yes I said fats), such as omega 3 fats which you will find in Fish and nuts, and clean carb's for energy which you will find in brown rice and sweet potatoes. If you want to get a Vertical like Kobe then I recommend that you start with these 2 aspects. If even give a slight amount of effort, you can see substantial results in as little as 2 weeks. How can you jump higher
