China Tour Planning a tour to China can seem like an immense undertaking, like building the Great Wall! Time: How long will you have to tour China? Are you interested in seeing as many places as possible or would you prefer a longer stay immersed in a few locations? What time of year will you be traveling and what weather conditions do you preferOne of world's numerous man-made wonders is the Great Wall of China. For anyone planning on visiting China or any of its surrounding neighbors, a Great Wall of China tour is almost a requisite addition to the trip. However, with so much wall to see and so many tour options available it might be hard at times to know which Great Wall of China tours to trust and attend, and which ones to ignore. Of these seven Great Wall of China tour destinations, the Badaling section is the most well known. Many of the images taken of the Great Wall are from the Badaling section of the wall, many of them near or around the Juyonguan Pass. However, the Mutianyu portion of the Great Wall is another good touring destination, especially during the busy day's tourist seasons. As a tourist spot, China offers a limitless variety of spectacular scenery and historical wonders. Generally May, September and October are ideal for touring anywhere in the country. During June to August, travelers often visit central and northern China, as rainfall is likely to occur in southern China during this time. Moreover October is ideal to travel anywhere and any region in the country. Because of the popularity of this tourist destination, large numbers of flights between China and countries like the United States, France, Britain and Hong Kong have been added, making it easier to make travel plans. China is a vast country with rich history, spectacular scenery, colorful folklore, and diverse culture. Vacation in China would be the dream of every vacationer. But the country is so large that it is almost impossible to know exactly what to do without good background knowledge of what, where, when and how. There are several different public and private travel agencies that offer China tour packages both for individual and organized group trips. They offer discounted China tour and include discounts for hotel accommodation, car rentals, etc. The discounts offered may vary ranging from as much as 50 to 70 % of the total cost, depending on the nature and the budget of the tour package. A mainstay of China holiday tours, the Forbidden City is surrounded by high walls and protected by a moat. Exploring this intricate and sprawling enclosure will keep you occupied for hours as you move between the gates, towers and courtyards that once protected the Chinese Emperors. The buildings here have curved, tiled roofs, decorated with varying numbers of statuettes, which denote the importance of the building and who was permitted entry. If you like the idea of visiting more than one of these cities on your China holidays, there are China holiday tours with itineraries that will include everything mentioned here as well as a lot more, such as a visit to Shanghai, China's oldest city.
