Getting Reading For Your Big Day: Beauty Tips For Your Wedding All brides want to look their best on their wedding day. This article will provide you with a few essential tips to ensure that your special event goes the way that you want it to. Bring along a pack of baby wipes. Particularly if you are getting married in the summer, it is quite likely that you are going to get hot while posing for pictures, dancing or just meeting and greeting guests. Baby wipes are refreshing; you can use them to wipe away any sweat or moisture on your face or body. They can also double as a stain remover if you spill something on your dress. You can treat a small spot without getting a large area of your gown wet. Do a practice run with both your hair stylist and makeup technician. Even if you are planning to perform these tasks yourself, it is still important that you set aside a day to practice the look that you want. Doing this in advance allows you to tweak your look so that you get it just right for your big day. Remember that although you want to feel special, you should not stray too far from your personal style. You still want people to recognize you, and you want to feel comfortable with your appearance. Do not wash your hair the day of the wedding. If you do, you will get rid of some of your natural oils, leaving your hair looking more dull than it would have appeared otherwise. Not only that, but unwashed hair will be easier to style for the ceremony. Give it a good cleaning the day before you get married and then leave it alone on your big day. Particularly if you are going to get married outside, or if you are planning to take some of your pictures outdoors, make sure to apply sunscreen underneath your foundation. Getting a little too much sun can really affect the way your makeup looks, throwing off all of your careful beauty preparations. It doesn't take much time to apply sunscreen, and it can make a big difference in the way you look and feel on your wedding day. Carry a small container of concealer around with you during the reception. Because you will be hugging and kissing many different friends and family members throughout the course of the evening, your foundation is likely to wear off a bit. Trying to put more back on can mess up the look that you worked so hard to achieve, and it can also be time consuming. Concealer, however, allows you to make a quick fix to the areas near your eyes and nose, and it also gives you the ability to cover up any blemishes that you have. If you don't have a place to keep the concealer, ask one of your bridesmaids to hold onto it for you. While it can be difficult, try not to worry too much about your appearance on your wedding day.
