QUESTION:

Evaluate the trigonometric function using its period as an aid.

\(\sin 4 \pi\)

ANSWER:

Step 1 of 2

A function is said to be periodic if \(f(t+c)=f(t)\), where c is any positive real number.

For the sine function the period is \(2 \pi\). Therefore

\(\sin (t+2 n \pi)=\sin t\) ................(1)

Here, n is any integer.
