Truss Problem: A builder has specifications for a triangular truss to hold up a roof. The horizontal side of the triangle will be 30 ft long. An angle at one end of this side will be 50. The side to be constructed at the other end will be 20 ft long. Use the law of sines to find the angle opposite the 30-ft side. How do you interpret the results?
