The AddMultiply Property Proof 1: Prove that for an exponential function, adding a constant to x multiplies the corresponding value of f(x) by a constant. Do this by showing that if x2 = c + x1, then f(x2) equals a constant times f(x1). Start by writing the equations for f(x1) and for f(x2), and then do the appropriate substitutions and algebra.
