Food safety at fairs and restaurants. Example 26.5 describes a study of theattitudes of people attending outdoor fairs about the safety of the food served atsuch locations. The full data set is stored on the CD and online as the fileex26-16.dat. It contains the responses of 303 people to several questions. Thevariables in this data set are (in order):subject hfair sfair sfast srest genderThe variable sfaircontains responses to the safety question described in Example26.5. The variable srest contains responses to the same question asked aboutfood served in restaurants. We suspect that restaurant food will appear safer thanfood served outdoors at a fair. Do the data give good evidence for this suspicion?
