(/>) At its closest approach, the comet is about 1 A.U. from the Sun (1 A.U. = distance from Earth to the Sun). What is the farthest distance? (c) What is the ratio of the speed at the closest point to the speed at the farthest point? [Hint. Use Keplers second law and estimate areas by a triangle (as in Fig. 5-29. but smaller distance travelled; see also Hint for 59.)
