QUESTION:

Table lookup integrals Use a table of integrals to evaluate the following indefinite integrals.

\(\int \frac{d x}{\left(16+9 x^{2}\right)^{3 / 2}}\)

ANSWER:

Step 1 of 3

                         The given integral  is ; dx…………..(1)

                                       dx = dx

                  For our convenience  take  substitution method  ;

                         If   3x = 4 tan(p) , then (3x) = (4 tanp)

                                                              3 =  4

                  Therefore , dx =  dp ……………(2)
