Decalin is a bicyclic organic compound . It has molecular formula of C10H18.  It is a common example of fused ring system.

Conformations are the structures of the compound. They are the different positions of a molecule that it can bend into. Atoms and bonds remain the same on the molecule in the conformation, the only variation is the angles in which certain parts of molecule would be bent or twisted.
