(a) 0.0088 M HClO4

(b) 1.5 × 10−3 M HBr

(c) 9.77 × 10−4 M HI

(d) 0.0878 M HNO3

As \(\mathrm{H} \mathrm{ClO}_{4}\) is a strong acid, so it dissociates completely into its ions. Therefore, the concentration of \(\left[\mathrm{H}_{3} \mathrm{O}^{+}\right]\) is equal to the concentration of the acid, i.e., 0.0088 M.

Also, the sum of the pH and pOH is equal to 14.                  

And the concentration of hydroxide will be antilog of the value of pOH.

So, the concentration of the hydroxide ions is:
