Proteins are biomolecules that are made of one or linear chain of amino acids. Amino acids are molecules containing an amine group, a carboxylic acid group, and an R group.

Primary protein structure is the linear sequence of amino acids in the protein. By convention,  the designation of the order of amino acids is, the amino acids starts from the amino-terminal end(N-terminal)  at the left and the carboxyl-terminal end (C-terminal) end to the right.
