From equation (1) it is clearly visible that, the time period only depends on the length of the pendulum. Because everything else in equation (1) are constants. STEP 2: As the time period is directly proportional to the square root of the length, it is more if the length is more and it is less if the length is less. So, the longer the length, longer the time period of the pendulum. CONCLUSION: The long pendulum has the longer time period.
