Solution 19E The speed of sound wave depends on it’s frequency not on the amplitude. So, when you are sitting at the 2nd balcony, the intensity may be decreased, but it won’t affect you a lot. The sound reaches you will be very clear still, as there will not be any mismatch when someone in the screen shouts loud or speaks slowly. If it would have dependent on the intensity or the amplitude, then it’s a big problem. But frequency dependency keeps things better. As speed of a wave is it’s frequency times the wavelength, wavelength will get longer when the frequency gets higher and vice versa. The speed will remain the same.
