(III) (a) Use the curve of Fig.  to estimate the stiffness constant  for the \(\mathrm H_2\) molecule. (Recall that \(\mathrm{PE}=\frac{1}{2}kx^2\).) Then estimate the fundamental wavelength for vibrational transitions using the classical formula (Chapter 11 ), but use only \(\frac{1}{2}\) the mass of an  atom (because both  atoms move).
