In the given problem, water filled long cylindrical tank with diameter d= 3m and length L=7m is transported on a level road with axis being horizontal. We need to calculate the pressure difference between front and back ends of the tank along the horizontal axis when truck accelerates at in part (a) and in part (b) when truck deaccelerates at  .

Here have consider the acceleration of the truck as constant and water as an incompressible fluid. The density of the water is taken to be and the co-ordinates are chosen as shown in the figure below.
