a) In order to find out the rate of energy, we should use the equation for power here.
That is, Power, P = I2 R
Where, I - Current through the circuit
R - effective resistance of the circuit
We substitute for I2 as I2 = V2/R2 ( From Ohm’s law)
Therefore, P = (V2/R2) R
That is, P = V2/R
